Together with my PhD advisor, Dr. Ruth Van Dyke, I led a team that conducted a small archaeological testing project at the previously unexcavated Aztec North great house at Aztec Ruins National Monument. I analyzed the ceramics and worked with other analysts on other artifact classes. This research led to my PhD dissertation, Becoming Chacoan: The Archaeology of the Aztec North Great House, and I continue to work on projects and publications that emerged from this excavation.
